Meet the founder

A Jaipur man with one stubborn idea: real Indian craft should not cost a fortune – and should never fall apart.

Where it began
Suresh Kumar Choudhary started working with clothes in 2018. No shortcuts, no big investors – just a young man in Jaipur learning the trade the hard way: sourcing fabric, sitting with printers, standing next to tailors, packing parcels late into the night, and listening to what women actually want to wear.
"Every mistake taught me something," he says. "Wrong fabric, wrong fit, late delivery – I made all of them once, and never twice."
The lockdown turning point
When the lockdown froze the world in 2020, he refused to stand still. One question kept him awake: why is beautiful handmade Indian clothing either too expensive or too poorly made? He decided to answer it himself – and that answer became Bahe Kurtiz.
"I am a son of Jaipur," he says. "Block printing, kota doria, gota work – I grew up around this craft. I wanted the world to wear it."
What he builds, and why
Every Bahe Kurtiz piece is designed by him and made in Jaipur with karigars who carry these skills in their hands – hand block printing, kota doria, gota work and hand embroidery.
His promise is simple: good fabric, real craft and the best designs, at a fair price. Not fast fashion that falls apart, and not luxury that only a few can afford – kurta sets for the office, Anarkalis for weddings and festivals, easy cotton for every day.

From Jaipur to the world
Today women order from Bahe Kurtiz in India and across the world – the USA, the UK, Canada, the UAE and Australia. Many are Indian women living far from home who miss a soft cotton kurta or a festive Anarkali that actually fits. For them he offers free custom stitching to their measurements, photos of their piece before it ships, and free duties-paid shipping.
The indigo hand block print kota doria set became one of the brand's top-selling designs on Myntra. "Every repeat order tells me I am on the right path," he says.

His dream
His goal is bold: to make Bahe Kurtiz a top international brand from India – a name women trust for their weddings, their festivals and their everyday moments.
"I want the world to see what Jaipur's karigars can do," he says. "And I want every woman, wherever she lives, to be able to wear it. We are just getting started."
