Hand block printed cotton uses natural and pigment colours. A little care keeps your kurti looking new for a long time.
First wash
- Soak in cold water with a spoon of salt for 15 minutes
- Wash separately the first 2–3 times
- Some colour release in the first wash is normal for hand printed fabric
Regular washing
- Cold water, mild liquid detergent
- Hand wash or gentle machine cycle
- Turn the garment inside out
- Do not use bleach
Drying
Dry in shade, inside out. Strong sunlight can fade colours.
Ironing
Iron on medium heat on the reverse side.
Storage
Store folded in a cool, dry place. Use a cotton bag for festive pieces.
